Why The Tension?!

From personal experience, I have noticed the tension between black women and white men. I don't know why there is tension but it just is.  For me, when I see an attractive white male enter the room I feel tense and my wall of defense causes me to ignore them.  I have had white male friends in the past and to this day but it was tense just being friends.  I have a lot in common with them but just hanging with them feels forbidden or wrong, I can't help but wonder if they feel the same way.  Some theorists feel that it results back to slavery as other feels that its just all in your head.  What I have trouble understanding is how I don't get nervous or tense when an attractive black male enters the room but I do with white males and sometimes men of other races besides blacks.  There's this tension in particular with me and  a white male who's locker is right next to mine.  We say hi to each other sometimes but it feels awkward and tense.  I know its not just because of him but the fact that he is white is what scares be and it has always been that way.  The hardest part about it is that I am very attracted to white men and always will.  I believe  the contrast on the outside but the bond between one another is what attracts me or the fact that it seems wrong but at the same time, feels so good.

Funny As Hell!

So there's this show I watch on YouTube called Awkward Black Girl and it is hilarious. You may have heard of it but if you haven't you should take a look. I don't want to get into detail to spoil anything but there's a whole season of it and they are in the process of a season two which already has about three episodes which are freaking funny so check it out. Here's the first episode.

What "Grinds Your Gears?"

One thing that grinds my gears are the t-shirts that says "I Love Nerds" or how all of a sudden every girl is saying how they are into nerds. They make it out like it's a fad or something, they are people. You know, the smart people who actually care about their futures? So when the fad gets old are you still gonna "love" nerds or are you gonna move on to the next thing? The girls who say they are suddenly into nerds are the same girls who wouldn't give them the time of day when being a nerd wasn't a "fashion trend."

Keeping Rock Alive?.....anyone?

I know I am not the only one getting tired of people so called trying to "keep rock alive" while it's slowly dying by our own hands. One thing that bothers me is the fact that people love to talk badly about rock bands that they don't like, for example, Nickelback. Why do people constantly have to talk so poorly of Nickelback, when all they did was have a dream of becoming rock stars and were able to successfully turn their dream into a reality with millions of supporting fans behind them? Now I know many people could say that Nickelback sucks and they killed rock music but what else can you say?Can you come up with something better than that? Or let me guess, are you just one of the many losers who joined the I Hate Nickelback bandwagon just to feel like you're finally a part of something. Well getting back to the main point, i feel that the best way to keep rock alive is to not talk so much crap about the rock bands that still makes good music for their fans and start appreciating them, even if you don't like them just keep the negativity to yourself.
